Our Ethical Commitment: Rehoming & Guarantee Policy
We understand that circumstances sometimes change. Our first priority is always the well-being of the puppy. This summary outlines our policy for guaranteeing the puppy’s health and ensuring they always have a safe placement.
๐ถ Voluntary Puppy Rehoming
If you are unable to keep your puppy at any point, Puppies On The Gulf must be contacted first. We have a commitment to accept the puppy back to ensure a safe transition.
Financial Stipend
Upon the puppy’s return and successful re-placement into a new, approved home, we will issue a financial stipend to the original customer equal to 25% of the puppy’s original purchase price, excluding any delivery fees and sales taxes.
Rehoming Eligibility Requirements
To be eligible for rehoming and the financial stipend, the puppy must be:
-
Current on a veterinarian-recommended vaccination and deworming schedule.
-
Assessed by our veterinarian to be in good health (minor, treatable illnesses excluded).
๐ก๏ธ Limitation of Liability & Formal Contract
Limitation of Liability
The Rehoming Policy does not cover owner-related issues such as behavioral problems, allergies, landlord restrictions, or changes in family lifestyle. The only covered rehoming reason is a verifiable health issue outlined in the formal contract.
Formal Guarantee
This page serves as a policy summary only. All terms, conditions, and the full extent of our 1-Year Health Guarantee are explicitly detailed in the signed Purchase Contract required for adoption.
